The CARIN community, made up of the CARIN Board, Affiliate Members,and Special Guests, met in Seattle, WA to discuss met to discuss workgroupprogress, current federal priorities on consumer directed exchange, includingupdates on the CMS proposed rule, “Patient Access and Interoperability,” andthe ONC proposed rule, “21st Century Cures Act: Interoperability, InformationBlocking, and the ONC Health IT Certification Program,” and to discuss theimminent release of the final version of the CARIN Code of Conduct and CommonPayer Consumer Data Set.
